Customer Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Customer Logistics Specialist will lead a collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment model for CARICAM customers, including distributors and direct accounts. The role bridges supply chain, commercial and external partners to guarantee product availability at the point of sale, high service levels and proactive risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the CPFR model and coordinate a collaborative agenda with key accounts, covering demand, inventory, promotions and service performance.
• Integrate sell‑out data, commercial forecasts and supply plans to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Manage service metrics such as OTIF, fill rate and on‑shelf availability by working with planning, logistics, quality and commercial teams.
• Analyze inventory, production schedules and substitution options to anticipate risks and develop contingency plans.
• Optimize inventory days, overstock, stock‑outs and working capital through KPI tracking and corrective actions.
• Oversee daily order management, purchase‑order follow‑up, shortage communication and regional catalog maintenance.
• Coordinate supply for promotions, displays and incremental sales, allocating products to points of sale.
• Facilitate communication and deliveries from US, UK, MX and CR supply sources for both stocked and made‑to‑order items.
• Support supply‑chain value projects that reduce cost or create value, collaborating across functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply, demand, logistics, customer service or commercial roles.
• Proven experience managing relationships with customers, commercial and supply teams.
• Familiarity with retail platforms, ERP systems and inventory management.
