Cook – Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

Le Pain Quotidien is seeking a motivated Cook to join its kitchen team. You will prepare and execute menu items for both dine‑in and to‑go service while upholding the brand’s high standards of quality and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all menu items, including seasonal and special dishes, following ticket standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following detailed cleaning checklists and assisting with dishwashing and equipment sanitation.
• Support the Kitchen Manager with inventory control, using prep sheets to ensure proper par levels.
• Conduct line checks for quality control and adhere to food safety procedures.
• Follow opening, mid‑shift, and closing procedures as directed.

Required profile

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
• Ability to be cross‑trained in all kitchen areas.
• Proficiency in the primary language(s) used at the work location.
