Control Tower Business Analyst

About the role

The Control Tower Business Analyst supports supply chain operations by analyzing purchasing trends, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory levels. This role works independently and collaborates with sourcing, finance, clinicians, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex data analysis on historical purchasing trends to create future forecasts and determine inventory needs.
• Develop and analyze demand forecasts and conduct ROI analysis for centrally owned inventory.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve product shortages, proposing acceptable alternatives in partnership with suppliers and clinicians.
• Participate in spend‑savings initiatives with finance, driving cost reductions across the supply chain.
• Support inventory readiness and depletion for new products and conversions.
• Evaluate and optimize automated replenishment activities and stock/par levels at consumption points.
• Prepare and analyze inventory data for reporting and decision‑making.
• Perform asset accounting tasks, including transfers, disposals, and maintaining disposition records.
• Promote learning, provide feedback, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate team collaboration, manage work plans, and identify improvement opportunities.
