Consultant – Project Financial Advisor

About the role

Deloitte's Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) team is looking for a Consultant to support project and account operations in its Costa Rica office. You will work closely with engagement teams to ensure financial health, compliance, and effective project controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support one or more engagement teams by managing financial analysis, reconciliation, and engagement management controls.
• Maintain compliance with client policies and perform internal financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance analysis.
• Manage project billing, receivables, and track expenditures.
• Monitor project performance, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate status to US project teams and finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other EFAs across the practice, including teams in India.
• Perform Project Management Office (PMO) tasks, contract management activities, and apply standard processes for project, quality, and risk management.
• Contribute to EFA team growth through participation in practice initiatives.
