Commercial Account Executive – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

Smartsheet is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join its sales team. The role is remote‑eligible for candidates residing in Costa Rica and focuses on driving revenue growth by managing and expanding a portfolio of B2B accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Exceed software and services sales targets by developing and executing strategic account plans.
• Build and nurture relationships with C‑level executives, positioning Smartsheet as a strategic partner.
• Lead complex, solution‑based sales cycles and align Smartsheet capabilities with client objectives.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and proactively propose tailored solutions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and apply MEDDICC qualification methodology.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of progressive sales experience in software or technology with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow B2B relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing C‑level executives.
• B2 English proficiency or higher.
