About the role
The Cash & Collateral Management Team Coordinator is a seasoned professional responsible for enhancing processes, providing analytical expertise, and leading a team within Citi's operations in Heredia, Costa Rica.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate subject‑matter expertise to develop new techniques and improve collateral and margining processes.
- Evaluate complex issues, balance alternatives, and provide advisory support to business teams.
- Identify and remediate control deficiencies, escalating gaps to senior management.
- Coach, train, and supervise junior staff, ensuring daily responsibilities are completed.
- Contribute to change‑the‑bank projects and drive cost‑reduction opportunities.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of industry experience in cash and collateral management or related finance functions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and diplomacy skills.
- Experience leading informal or formal teams and providing coaching to new recruits.
- Ability to assess risk, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and protect the firm’s reputation.
