Business Governance & Risk Analyst

About the role

Experian's Consumer Services (ECS) Business Governance team is looking for an organized Business Governance and Risk Analyst. The role ensures the smooth operation of critical business governance reporting, control testing, creation, documentation and processes, and involves reporting and process management across several departments. The position reports to a leader on the Business Governance team.

Key responsibilities

• Risk controls testing and creation: help review risk-related controls to support the risk governance process.
• Reporting: prepare detailed reports on findings with insights for senior management.
• Collaboration: work with legal, compliance, operations and product to develop materials and presentations on business governance and risk management.
• Process administration and presentation: administer selected processes, functions and meetings, including hosting and presenting content.
• Documentation: document main governance and risk management processes, including flow charts and diagrams.
• Process analysis: examine business processes to identify risks and inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in governance, risk management, control testing, auditing or compliance is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or a related field.
• Confidence presenting in English in front of groups and facilitating meetings.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Process management skills and tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence or similar.
