Business Executive – Pineapple Account

About the role

American Vanguard is seeking a Business Executive to manage and grow its pineapple portfolio. The role focuses on "A" and development accounts, driving sales, margin, and long‑term partnerships within the sustainable agriculture sector.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of accounts and contacts.
• Visit clients regularly to assess needs and opportunities.
• Achieve pre‑agreed financial targets, including budget and gross margin.
• Update an 18‑month rolling forecast aligned with client requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and analyses.
• Communicate market trends and changes to the direct supervisor.
• Coordinate with promoters to execute client‑specific actions.
• Identify new business opportunities to expand the portfolio.
• Organise product efficacy tests for clients.
• Manage supplier relationships for the assigned product range.
• Deliver on‑site product training and post‑sale customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Engineering or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Extensive knowledge of pineapple cultivation management.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
