Business Development Agent – Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Agent to drive new local and international sales opportunities in the logistics sector. The role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with operational and customs teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and identify new business opportunities both locally and abroad.
• Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion, maintaining accurate records.
• Present and promote the company’s logistics, international transport (sea, air, land) and foreign trade services to potential clients.
• Prepare detailed commercial proposals and complex quotations tailored to each client’s import/export needs.
• Coordinate with operational and customs departments to verify technical feasibility and compliance.
• Create and maintain client records in the internal system, ensuring all documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, incidents, and commercial requests.
• Produce weekly sales performance reports and conduct sales visits or virtual meetings with decision‑makers.

Required profile

• University degree in International Trade, Logistics, Customs or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven business development experience in freight forwarding, logistics operators or similar organisations.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).
