Branch Officer

About the role

Tigo, a regional telecommunications operator active in 15 Latin American and African countries, is looking for a Branch Officer in Heredia. The role serves current and potential customers, offers effective solutions to their needs and advises them on products and services such as internet, television, fixed-line telephony and mobile plans.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customer retention according to required metrics and manage sales of products and services to meet commercial targets.
• Attend customers in the store in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information and advice on Tigo's products and services.
• Solve basic technical problems and billing queries.
• Process requests for contracts, renewals, plan changes, customer retention and service cancellations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Comply with company procedures and policies on customer service and sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in secondary education.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales or similar roles, preferably in telecommunications or retail.
• Effective communication, negotiation, customer orientation and problem solving; adherence to principles and values.

Required skills

• Essential: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Nice to have: conflict management, intermediate English, adaptability and resilience under pressure.
