About the role
Join a dynamic culinary team that supports airport and airline catering operations across the Caribbean and Latin America. As a Kitchen Assistant on the early‑morning shift, you will help ensure that food preparation runs smoothly and that the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preliminary tasks and basic food preparation.
- Assist chefs in the preparation of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and work areas.
- Check the condition of supplies and utensils before use.
- Support the receipt and storage of food products.
- Follow established safety and hygiene regulations.
- When needed, help with plating, serving, inventory control, and line product stocking.
Required profile
- Valid food‑handling certificate.
- Completed ninth year of schooling or equivalent experience.
- At least six months of experience in an institutional kitchen or restaurant (preferred).
- Ability to work long periods standing, lift kitchen utensils and products, and tolerate high temperatures.
