Associate Systems Engineer

About the role

Moody's is looking for an Associate Systems Engineer to join its Operations team. You will help ensure the reliability and performance of critical risk‑assessment applications by providing technical support, monitoring, and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support and operational activities for web applications and APIs.
• Manage case queues, respond to high‑severity incidents, and provide weekend coverage.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and synthetic alerts.
• Track and resolve customer‑reported bugs using issue‑tracking tools.
• Conduct customer triage sessions and create knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• 1+ years of technical support experience on web applications and APIs.
• Self‑motivated, independent thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree (master's degree is a plus).

Required skills

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of incident management processes and the ITIL framework.
• Understanding of Agile software development practices.
• Exposure to application performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk).
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
