Asistente de Transporte y Servicios Generales – Logística

About the role

The Regional Office for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean of IUCN is looking for a Transport and General Services Assistant. The role provides comprehensive logistical, administrative and operational support to ensure smooth office functioning, safe vehicle fleet management and timely handling of internal requests.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise and execute transport requests for the Regional Director, staff and visitors, including airport transfers and field trips.
• Maintain safe and compliant use of assigned vehicles, schedule preventive and corrective maintenance with authorised providers, and keep detailed maintenance records.
• Manage procurement processes related to vehicle upkeep (quotations, approvals, purchase orders, payments).
• Handle internal and external messenger services, coordinate administrative procedures with national institutions, and oversee inventory and warehouse maintenance.
• Support general office services, ensuring compliance with organisational and donor procedures.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple logistical tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and compliance documentation.
• Good communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Experience working in an international or non‑profit environment is an advantage.
