About the role

The Business Development Advisor will support entrepreneurs and small companies in defining and improving their business models. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Heredia and focuses on delivering comprehensive advisory services to SMEs and startups.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs and design personalized assistance plans.
• Apply diagnostic methodologies and maintain up‑to‑date client documentation.
• Monitor progress, evaluate results, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in trainings, workshops, and business‑development activities.
• Support project formulation and execution.
• Establish links with public, private and ecosystem actors to create opportunities for client businesses.
• Continuously update professional knowledge and meet assigned targets while upholding ethics and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Degree in Economic Sciences or Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant training within the last five years (certificates accepted).
• Experience in business planning, new‑business development, and improvement of business plans.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and support strategic decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
