Applications Production Support Analyst

About the role

Citi Technology is looking for a motivated IT professional to join its Applications Support team in Costa Rica. The team manages the production environment for a wide range of proprietary applications used by Finance, Risk, Compliance and Human Resources, providing 24 × 7 technical support to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line investigation and resolution of incidents across Citi’s proprietary technologies.
• Perform incident and problem management, including prioritisation, escalation and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with global counterparts, development, infrastructure and business teams in a follow‑the‑sun model.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery testing, application releases, testing and post‑release checkouts.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation and monitoring procedures.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in system analysis or applications support.
• Strong background working in Unix or Linux environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL job monitoring and data‑level issue tracing.
• Proficiency supporting relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
