Application Support Specialist

About the role

Harris is looking for an Application Support Specialist to join its System Innovators team, which delivers Enterprise Revenue Management solutions to public‑sector and utility customers worldwide. You will act as the primary technical liaison for clients, troubleshooting a .NET‑based web application hosted on Windows Server with a SQL Server backend.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing clear, timely communication via phone and ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the application, server, and database layers, including IIS, services, permissions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze .NET application logs, Windows Event Logs, and SQL Server logs to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to escalate complex problems and improve system stability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business‑friendly language.
• Hands‑on experience supporting .NET web applications in Windows Server environments.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage tickets efficiently, and ensure no incident is left unresolved.
