Application Modernization Architect

About the role

Kyndryl is seeking an Application Modernization Architect to design cutting‑edge software frameworks, systems, and products that set industry standards. You will lead the creation of system interfaces and business application prototypes while ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative software architectures, including UI, middleware, and infrastructure components.
• Identify and remediate framework design weaknesses.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct design and code reviews, and enforce enterprise‑wide design standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, design processes, component integration, and testing guidelines.

Required profile

• Senior AI Solution Architect or consulting background with strong client‑facing experience.
• Proven experience in application modernization and end‑to‑end AI solution design.
• Ability to translate client problems into scalable solutions and perform solution sizing.
• Growth mindset, customer‑focused attitude, and inclusive collaboration style.
