Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst (Collector)

About the role

Amazon's Finance Operations team is looking for a Financial Analyst to manage the full‑cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) collection process for LATAM markets, including Brazil and Mexico. The role requires fluency in Spanish, English and Portuguese and focuses on delivering a high‑quality customer experience while ensuring accurate receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end AR collection activities: research, analysis, resolve discrepancies, and contact customers.
• Process and reconcile receivables, manage payment‑application issues, and handle internal and external collection inquiries.
• Maintain customer relationships by providing timely, accurate information.
• Follow, create, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Collaborate with Global Finance Operations and LATAM business partners on new market launches.
• Publish weekly metrics, provide project status updates, and support audit and self‑inspection activities.
• Analyze existing processes, recommend improvements, and drive operational excellence.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
• Experience in AR collections and financial analysis for LATAM regions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to pull and interpret large data sets.
• Proactive problem‑solver capable of designing strategic plans to resolve non‑collectible balances.
• Effective communicator who can work across multiple geographies.
