Accounts Payable Clerk II

About the role

We are looking for a Clerk II to support our Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing, and audit‑ready documentation in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard and non‑routine accounting activities to maintain accurate records and comply with policies.
• Coordinate work priorities to meet service‑level, quality, and deadline expectations.
• Support reconciliations, transaction processing, record maintenance, and month‑end close activities.
• Monitor accounting data and system outputs to identify discrepancies.
• Follow up with internal and external contacts to obtain missing information and clarify documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, documentation standards, and escalation procedures.
• Resolve routine to moderately complex accounting issues and document actions taken.
• Contribute to improvements in job aids, templates, and local processes.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience; certifications in bookkeeping or accounts payable are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger support, reconciliations, or close support.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to work with accounting systems.
