Accounting Manager – Record to Report Lead

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Record to Report Lead to oversee accurate financial reporting and compliance for its North American entities. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will manage month‑end close, consolidation, and reporting activities performed by internal accountants and third‑party providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the month‑end closing calendar, lead status calls and ensure timely closure of ERP modules.
• Prepare narratives for corporate consolidations to support balance‑sheet variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Business Units on special operating and reporting requirements.
• Lead financial reviews with corporate controllership, RTR Operations and third‑party service providers, including pre‑closing and post‑closing activities such as BPC account reviews, flux analysis and audits.
• Act as liaison for RTR projects, prioritize resources, and manage finance project deliverables related to accounting processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in record‑to‑report, financial close and consolidation processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and corporate reporting requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
