About the role
Genpact is seeking an Accounting Controller to manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly close activities while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Key responsibilities
- Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly close processes.
- Support audit documentation, compliance processes, and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
- Collaborate with finance teams for reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
- Contribute to system enhancements and ensure adherence to US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
Required profile
- Strong experience in controllership and financial accounting, preferably supporting operations in Costa Rica.
- Experience managing relationships with external service providers, auditors (e.g., Deloitte Costa Rica), and tax advisors.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with leadership, vendors, and auditors to ensure timely financial reporting.
- CPA/CPI certification is mandatory; knowledge of IFRS required.
