Accountant I – Accounts Receivable

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as an Accountant I focused on Accounts Receivable. You will support multiple business units across the US, Canada, and Mexico, providing analytical and operational assistance in cash application, credit management, dispute handling, and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounts and perform reconciliations to identify unresolved items.
• Create O2C documentation, including process maps and work instructions.
• Execute cash collection activities such as reminders, communications, and direct customer interactions.
• Handle cash management tasks, including cash allocation, bank statement reconciliation, and intercompany payments.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, monitoring non‑payments and delays.
• Support escalation resolution for AR, credit issues, and disputes.
• Generate periodic O2C reports and KPI measurements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the O2C function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries.
• Experience in diversified industrial products or manufacturing preferred.
• Background in finance and accounting functions within a shared services environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Demonstrated values of integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation, and teamwork.
