Account Manager

About the role

Heraeus Medevio, a Heraeus business unit combining medical technology expertise with partners in medical device manufacturing, is looking for an Account Manager. The role independently manages assigned accounts as the primary contact for day-to-day commercial matters, strengthening customer satisfaction, retention and growth while coordinating internal stakeholders and monitoring forecasts and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts and product portfolio, handling orders and building customer relationships
• Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, pricing updates and commercial documentation within delegated authority
• Coordinate customer projects, product transfers, technical changes and lifecycle activities
• Work with Customer Support, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Strategic Account Managers, Business Developers and Portfolio Managers, and guide Senior Account Specialists on standard processes
• Contribute to S&OP, customer forecasts, rolling forecasts and annual planning, keeping account data accurate in CRM and ERP
• Monitor account performance and forecast trends, and escalate non-routine commercial, operational or quality matters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Account Management, Project Coordination or a similar commercial function
• Strong customer orientation, communication, analytical and organisational skills, able to work in a matrix and international environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to about 20%
