Account Manager – Client Relationships & Digital Engagement

About the role

The Account Manager will be based in Costa Rica and will serve LSEG’s US‑based clients within the Emerging book of business. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining a customer‑centric approach with a digital‑first mindset to drive revenue retention, growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep relationships with assigned accounts, understanding client strategies, priorities and challenges.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to increase client value and meet revenue targets.
• Lead negotiations and close deals that deliver win‑win outcomes.
• Streamline account administration for low‑value and high‑growth potential accounts using digital tools.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists, Customer Success Managers and product teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Champion digital platforms (CRM, portals, digital communication tools) to deliver scalable, personalized engagement.
• Monitor client health, product usage and trends through reporting tools and provide proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within financial markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on digital adoption and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfort working collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and digital tools such as Salesforce, Tableau and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to analyse data and generate insights to guide account strategy.
