About the role

Trade and Law Services (TLS) is expanding its regional presence and seeks a Regional Associate Lawyer to represent the firm in Nosara and surrounding areas. The role combines legal expertise with business development, providing on‑site support to national and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Represent TLS and strengthen its institutional presence in Nosara.
• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, developers, real‑estate brokers, investors and other strategic actors.
• Identify and channel opportunities for legal, fiduciary and closing services.
• Provide initial in‑person client assistance and follow‑up.
• Coordinate legal matters with TLS’s specialized departments.
• Participate in business meetings, networking events and professional positioning activities.
• Support the execution of legal procedures, filings and related services as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree and active membership in the Costa Rican Bar.
• Professional residence or verifiable professional link to Nosara and its surroundings.
• Advanced professional English.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on long‑term relationship development.
• Excellent communication, professional presentation and sound legal judgment.
• Willingness to travel within the region and work autonomously while coordinating with the firm.
• Responsible handling of confidential client information.

Required skills

• Legal knowledge in corporate, real‑estate or notarial law (preferred).
• Experience serving foreign investors and international clients (preferred).
