Vendor Performance Analyst

About the role

The Vendor Performance Analyst will develop and execute procurement and performance strategies for the CR‑NCAM area, aligning with business plans and supporting Maersk’s global logistics operations. The role can be based in any country within the CR‑NCAM scope and works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term supplier relationships and strengthen external partnerships.
• Optimize procurement spend, contracts, and category strategies.
• Register and monitor project performance in the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).
• Ensure compliance with global and local procurement policies, HSSE, ESG and legal obligations.
• Conduct market, category and supply‑risk analyses; build Total Value Ownership models.
• Draft contracts in Spanish and English and manage the end‑to‑end contracting process with legal experts.
• Onboard new vendors, own service performance, implement corrective actions and manage SLAs.
• Validate invoices, reimbursables and budget adherence; run governance cadences and manage change/claims processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience.
• Experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.

Required skills

• Contract drafting in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency with procurement reporting tools (e.g., PPM).
• Ability to perform supplier market and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of Total Value Ownership modeling.
