Travel Sales Consultant / Destination Specialist

About the role

CRS Tours is a Costa Rican company that creates custom travel experiences for international clients. The Travel Sales Consultant / Destination Specialist will turn inquiries into confirmed bookings by designing personalized itineraries and providing high‑level service throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and qualify travel inquiries from clients and agencies worldwide.
• Convert inquiries into commercial proposals and confirmed reservations.
• Design and sell customized itineraries in Costa Rica based on interests, budget, dates and traveler profile.
• Prepare clear, attractive and profitable quotes, proposals and travel programs.
• Conduct phone and video calls to understand needs, present proposals, handle objections and close sales.
• Provide active, timely follow‑up on each proposal until closure or loss identification.
• Achieve sales, conversion, billing and margin targets set by the company.
• Assist clients with questions throughout the pre‑confirmation process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel sales, tour operation, travel agencies, commercial hospitality or custom travel design.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English (essential).
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish.
• Strong ability to write clear, personalized and professional emails, proposals and itineraries.
• Demonstrated success selling by phone/video, including need detection, proposal presentation, objection handling and closing.
• Organized, proactive, responsible and results‑oriented.
• Availability to work from the Greater Metropolitan Area.
