About the role

The company MCI Ingeniería y Desarrollo is seeking a proactive and results‑oriented Electromechanical Technician to join its project team in Santa Teresa, Puntarenas. The role focuses on supervising, inspecting, and verifying the proper execution of electromechanical installations for residential and commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect, and verify the correct execution of electromechanical installations.
• Detect, analyze, and follow up on technical deviations during construction.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate work with contractors and other construction disciplines.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and company quality standards.
• Track progress of electromechanical activities and report incidents.
• Provide technical support for solving installation‑related problems.
• Monitor proper use of materials, equipment, and tools.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electromechanics or a related field.
• Experience inspecting or supervising residential or commercial electromechanical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical plans.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical materials and equipment.
