Systems Administrator III – VDI Engineer

About the role

The Systems Administrator III – VDI Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for complex systems analysis, enterprise system support, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure stability and performance of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second level support for enterprise systems, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents.
• Monitor system health, identify trends, and recommend improvements for availability and performance.
• Plan, configure, and execute complex system changes, installations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Collaborate with product users, suppliers, and internal teams to share information, prioritize requirements, and drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Escalate risks or issues to lead administrators following defined processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT operations or systems administration.
• At least one year of experience supporting Horizon VDI and Azure environments.
