Supervisor de Transporte

About the role

The Transport Supervisor will lead and coordinate transportation operations in the assigned region, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate vehicles and drivers based on demand, routes, schedules and commercial priorities.
• Monitor operational processes on routes and at loading/unloading points, guaranteeing proper documentation and traceability.
• Oversee preventive and corrective fleet maintenance, manage workshops and control repair times to minimize downtime.
• Handle route incidents, communicate promptly with customers and internal teams, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with transport, road safety regulations and internal security policies.
• Train, integrate and develop drivers and operational staff, promoting best practices and reducing turnover.
• Optimize routes and operational processes.
• Collaborate with commercial, traffic, procurement, finance and security departments to align processes and meet requirements.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, manuals, compliance records and audit reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising transport operations or fleet management.
• Availability to travel and address incidents outside regular hours.
