Specialist Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role

The Specialist Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis leads financial planning, reporting, and operational support for Deloitte’s Growth & Development organization. Working closely with senior leaders, you will translate financial insight into practical guidance that drives effective decision‑making and strong controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budget management, driving the annual planning process and providing guidance to Learning Leaders and other stakeholders.
• Oversee period‑close activities, including accruals, forecast submissions, reconciliations and monthly financial summaries for senior leadership.
• Manage engagement and client financial operations, preparing financials, management reporting and ensuring accuracy through robust controls.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations on expenses, billings, payments, SOWs and re‑forecasting activities.
• Build trusted relationships with Learning Leaders, senior G&D leadership, program managers and finance partners to drive compliance and process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, high‑visibility environment.
