Sourcer Recruiter, Global Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Sourcer Recruiter to join its North American Operations recruiting team and help find the best talent in the US market to support its growth. The recruiter works with a team of recruiting professionals to find distribution and operations professionals across the country, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on efficient, quality service to internal customers.

The role sits in the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, a central sourcing team for Amazon's worldwide talent acquisition team, which scouts talent across the Americas, Europe, Asia and India for tech, non-tech and high-volume roles.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit passive candidates, profiling them and gauging their fit and motivation rather than selling a role
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through market research and relationship management
• Conduct in-depth interviews and aim for high offer-to-interview ratios
• Suggest recruitment strategies and improve standard recruiting processes
• Write plans with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
• Use ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search and open-web sources to find and engage talent
• Evaluate candidate profiles and assess candidates for finance analyst, accounting and senior finance positions, knowing regional compensation trends and talent pools
• Create Boolean search strings and source candidates in specialized non-technical fields

Required profile

• 1+ years of corporate or search-firm recruiting or research experience, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of progressive recruiting or research experience
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting and proven ability to curate market intelligence for saturated talent markets
• Experience managing both high-volume and niche hiring
• Proven success recruiting for finance positions (financial analysts, accounting or related roles)

Required skills

• Applicant tracking systems and contact management systems
• Good verbal and written communication, prioritization and customer service mindset

Preferred: market intelligence, experience leading or taking part in technology hiring events and meetups, and familiarity with finance certifications such as CPA, CFA and CMA.
