Software Engineer I R&D

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer I to join our R&D team developing software for medical devices. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality solutions that improve healthcare outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing robust, scalable software with a focus on architecture and long-term maintainability.
• Implement front-end features using Angular while adhering to UI standards and regulatory constraints.
• Develop and maintain back-end services in C#/.NET following architectural patterns, coding standards, and security practices.
• Create and maintain SQL Server database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Participate in design discussions, testing activities, and defect resolution.
• Produce technical documentation to support traceability and verification.
• Support continuous improvement of existing medical device software systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of software development experience (including internships, co-ops or academic projects).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn regulated software practices and documentation standards.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Angular (front-end web development).
• C# and .NET framework.
• SQL Server (tables, views, stored procedures).
• Object-oriented programming.
• Version control with Git.
