Software Engineer - Fullstack

About the role

SimSpace is looking for a Software Engineer - Fullstack to join our team and participate in the full development lifecycle, from definition to maintenance. You’ll collaborate with UX, Product, and Data Science teams, engage in team planning, demos, and retrospectives, and continuously contribute to knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full development lifecycle from definition to maintenance.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Data Science teams on feature design and implementation.
• Engage in team planning, demos, retrospectives, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Ability to work across the stack, from API development to frontend enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and openness to feedback.
• Goal‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality, tested code.

Required skills

• Typescript and React
• Kotlin and Spring Boot
• PostgreSQL (and familiarity with MongoDB)
• Kubernetes and microservices architecture
• RESTful API design and testing principles
