SEO Specialist – Digital Marketing

About the role

Bayer is looking for a seasoned Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to shape and execute a holistic SEO strategy that supports brand launches and product lifecycles. You will work closely with Content, UX, Development, and Legal teams to embed SEO best practices early in the workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an end‑to‑end SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Own on‑page, technical, and off‑page optimization across all web properties.
• Conduct keyword research, intent mapping, and content gap analysis to guide patient and HCP journeys.
• Optimize site architecture, internal linking, metadata, schema markup, and page performance.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, and overall site health.
• Use SEO tools (Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to uncover growth opportunities.
• Track, analyze, and report rankings, traffic, CTR, engagement, and conversions.
• Ensure SEO compliance with regulatory, privacy, and legal standards for new product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in regulated or enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally.
