Senior Transfer & Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Transfer & Project Engineer to lead the transfer of medical device products from R&D to manufacturing. You will drive process validation, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives while ensuring that products meet all regulatory and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to execute product and process transfers on schedule.
• Develop and verify specifications, design fixtures, and create test methods for processes, equipment, and raw materials.
• Support manufacturing for existing lines, new product introductions, line extensions, and tooling updates.
• Drive validation activities for products, equipment, and processes, and maintain key process indicators.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and production to resolve production issues and implement lean improvements.
• Lead prototype and pilot production planning, and oversee equipment maintenance programs.
• Prepare technical and validation documentation and conduct investigations and testing of process tools.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (or related field) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2, ideally C1).
• Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary engineering teams.

Required skills

• PMP knowledge or experience in transfer processes.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
• Experience using CMMS, Minitab, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Understanding of statistics, DOE, and Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt a plus).
• Ability to read and prepare technical/validation documentation.
• Working knowledge of standard machine‑shop equipment and basic electrical troubleshooting.
