Senior Technical Maintenance Support

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Maintenance Support professional to provide manufacturing technical assistance to Operations and Engineering teams. The role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and process improvement within a medical device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance routines to minimise equipment downtime.
• Identify equipment failures, execute corrective actions and produce impact assessment reports.
• Conduct experiments and tests following protocols to validate and improve equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Review and update documentation, ensuring proper cataloguing, validation and qualification of equipment (ECRs, SOPs, drawings, tooling).
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose redesigns of equipment, tools or fixtures for engineering review.
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing equipment and lead small projects related to new equipment validation or investigations.
• Utilise manufacturing software such as JDE, QMS and PLM to maintain system documentation.
• Provide coaching and guidance to technicians and perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Associate's Degree or equivalent technical certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within a medical‑device environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JDE, QMS and PLM software.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance for production equipment.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and control systems.
• Good computer skills, including the MS Office Suite.
