Senior Support Network Engineer

About the role

Pavago is seeking a Senior Support Network Engineer to provide technical assistance for ISP and fixed‑wireless infrastructure serving U.S. B2B customers. This remote, full‑time position combines customer‑facing support with hands‑on network operations to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to U.S. B2B customers during U.S. business hours.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot MikroTik and Cisco routers and switches across core and edge ISP networks.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose outages, and maintain high network availability.
• Plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions, including point‑to‑point (PTP) and point‑to‑multipoint (PTMP) links.
• Implement and maintain dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Support managed Wi‑Fi, Starlink, and wireless mesh/backhaul solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex network issues and optimize performance.

Required profile

• Flawless written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven experience in customer‑facing technical support roles.
• Hands‑on experience with fixed‑wireless/WISP technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• MikroTik routing and switching.
• Cisco routers and switches.
• OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
• Fixed Wireless Access platforms: Cambium, Ubiquiti/UniFi, Aviat, Siklu, Ceragon.
• Starlink, managed Wi‑Fi, wireless mesh and backhaul.
• PTP and PTMP wireless link deployment.
• Cloud networking basics (AWS, Azure, GCP) – nice to have.
• ITSM tools, preferably Salesforce – nice to have.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, Network+ – nice to have.
