Senior Solutions Sales Associate

About the role

The Senior Solutions Sales Associate provides first‑call response for pricing and quoting simple solution requests within an assigned territory. The role supports customers throughout the sales cycle, manages forecasts and pipelines, and becomes a subject‑matter expert on supplier lines, tools, and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customers’ solution requests, configure, price, quote and process hardware, software and services.
• Engage with customers to understand scope, communicate lead‑times, delivery options and assist with additional decisions on renewals and warranties.
• Maintain opportunity forecasting, pipeline management and contribute to forecast consolidations.
• Escalate pre‑sales issues (credit, engineering, etc.) and provide queue management oversight.
• Ensure compliance with customer contracts, pricing programs, promotions and inventory rules.

Required profile

• Experience in configuration, sales or a technical customer‑service role within a computer‑products or solutions distribution environment.
• Associate degree in business, IT or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated subject‑matter expertise in product pricing, simple configuration design and sales/quoting systems.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and customers.

Required skills

• Ability to use pricing and quoting tools to generate accurate solutions.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and detail‑oriented organization.
• Knowledge of distribution industry practices and sales processes.
