Senior Software Architect

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and cloud‑native SaaS solutions. The role combines deep technical expertise with AI‑first development practices to accelerate product quality and time‑to‑market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the architecture of cloud‑native SaaS applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS.
• Define and implement enterprise patterns such as microservices, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event‑driven architectures.
• Establish API‑first standards, ensure security, and drive performance optimization.
• Mentor engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and set technical standards across projects.
• Champion AI‑assisted development by integrating tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor.

Required profile

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior architectural or principal engineering role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework
• Angular 16+
• AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud platforms
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon DocumentDB (NoSQL)
• Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design, CQRS, Event‑Driven Architecture
• AI‑powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, MCP, agentic development
