Senior Product Owner

About the role

Equifax is looking for a Senior Product Owner who can bridge customer needs with technology capabilities, driving strategic product conversations and enhancing value for both the company and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with customers and stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Lead backlog grooming, epic decomposition, and sprint planning while managing dependencies across engineering and architecture teams.
• Define acceptance criteria, oversee testing with QA, and provide final sign‑off on deliverables.
• Capture feedback from demos and retrospectives, synthesize learnings, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5‑7 years of product owner experience in cloud‑based or SaaS environments.
• 4+ years of Agile practice, facilitating ceremonies and applying Lean product management.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage capacity against product budgets.
