Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic procurement initiatives that support global healthcare, research, and environmental protection. You will work closely with category and cluster leaders to drive cost savings, supplier rationalisation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support cluster and category leaders in executing initiatives to meet performance indicators such as savings, risk management and supplier performance.
• Report and communicate performance data for assigned categories and business processes.
• Monitor compliance with sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance issues.
• Facilitate supplier business reviews to ensure contractual obligations and continuous improvement goals are met.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure understanding and support of strategic sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Advanced degree with 6+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in a large multinational.
• Preferred studies in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields.
• Project Management certification desired; procurement certifications such as CPSM or CPIM preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management and supplier relationship management.
