Senior Process Engineer – Onsite

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes at Samtec’s Zeta Free Zone facility. The role focuses on improving cost, sustainability, quality and production efficiency while ensuring safe and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) and other analytical methods to identify critical process variables.
• Develop and document standard manufacturing best practices, process windows and work instructions.
• Apply Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to resolve process challenges and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Perform statistical process capability studies and assess readiness of raw cable designs for full‑volume production.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams and support incident investigations.
• Research and implement new manufacturing methods and automation programming.
• Manage material tracking, data compilation for alpha and beta builds, and tooling requirements for new products.
• Participate in and drive FMEA and PFMEA activities.

Required profile

• B.S. or B.A. in Industrial, Process, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and creative mindset.
• Project management experience and ability to work both as a team member and leader.
