Senior Learning & Development Partner – Latin America

About the role

The Senior Learning & Development Partner will be the primary L&D contact for Latin America, focusing on Costa Rica. Reporting to the Learning and Organizational Development Manager, the role works closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and global L&D teams to design and deliver learning solutions that support continuous development.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders on learning and talent development needs across Latin America.
• Identify capability gaps, recommend learning solutions, and align initiatives with regional business priorities.
• Translate global learning strategies into regional programs and share best practices within the global L&D network.
• Support the Costa Rica Shared Services learning roadmap, including onboarding processes.
• Facilitate in‑person and virtual training sessions on professional, business, and leadership skills.
• Assist with instructional design of new programs and promote e‑learning content, including LinkedIn Learning tracks.
• Coordinate annual L&D planning, track participation, and manage logistics for training events.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness, generate analytics, and produce executive summaries for decision‑making.
• Manage external vendors, purchase requisitions, invoices, and LMS activities to ensure a seamless learner experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of several years of experience in learning and development, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong facilitation and instructional design capabilities with a consulting mindset.
• Ability to partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to translate needs into actionable learning solutions.
• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
