Senior JavaScript Desktop Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Desktop Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality cross‑platform desktop applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Electron, Tauri, or Cordova.
• Integrate desktop solutions with back‑end services, APIs, and system components.
• Optimize application performance, architecture, and resource usage.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to shared code libraries.
• Address security considerations and follow best practices for secure application development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on desktop applications.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience working on large, complex systems in Agile environments.
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) remotely and take extreme ownership of deliverables.
