Senior IT Sourcing Specialist – Costa Rica

About the role

As part of the Indirect Sourcing organization, the Senior IT Sourcing Specialist develops and implements sourcing strategies that create a sustainable competitive advantage for the Global IT category. The role involves managing critical activities to reduce costs while maintaining quality, and partnering with IT stakeholders across BSC sites, divisions, and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiating new IT agreements in support of key sourcing areas.
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting.
• Managing supplier performance, relationships, and continuous improvement programs.
• Creating and issuing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to potential suppliers and managing IT projects.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the sourcing function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of sourcing experience.
• Experience with end‑to‑end sourcing process, negotiations and contract management.
• Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Ariba.
