Senior iOS Engineer

About the role

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Sparq, you will help shape the mobile experience for millions of airline passengers worldwide. You will work at the intersection of technology and travel, turning business requirements into high‑performance, secure iOS applications that guide travelers from booking to boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective‑C.
• Evaluate when to use Swift versus Flutter for cross‑platform features.
• Integrate responsive WebViews within the iOS app container.
• Follow established architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Identify and address technical debt and communicate constraints to the Engineering Lead.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to streamline development tasks and share best practices.
• Collaborate in an agile, fast‑paced environment with a small, dynamic engineering team.
• Support implementation of mobile security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and shipping iOS applications at a senior level.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional teams and communicating technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to maintaining high performance, security, and user‑experience standards.
