Senior Financial Analyst – BP&A GBS Operations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our OPEX team. You will support Finance Business Partners and BP&A GBS leadership with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end GBS operating expense management process.
• Lead planning, forecasting and budgeting for assigned business units (headcount and non‑labor).
• Act as the primary liaison between the Center of Excellence and functional finance partners.
• Maintain financial planning models, develop forecasts, trends and performance‑management commentary.
• Prepare standard and ad‑hoc reports using globally standardized tools.
• Prepare or approve monthly journal entries, including intercompany charge‑outs.
• Track actual performance versus plan and provide analysis for management decisions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching and performance management for analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of finance experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month‑end close and reporting.
• 1–3 years of demonstrated leadership experience, including team supervision and coaching.
• Experience in a large, global, multi‑segment organization handling journal entries and intercompany charges.
• Strong analytical ability to identify root causes of variances and recommend performance improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (ERP) for accounting processes.
• Experience using Workday for HR data integration.
• Knowledge of BPC (Budget, Planning, Consolidations) tools.
• Ability to create visual analytics and reports in Power BI.
