Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote (Colombia & Costa Rica)

About the role

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a distributed team of developers and engineers. You will design, build, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure that power our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategy, design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Create tools to reduce errors, improve customer experience, and scale monitoring for applications and infrastructure.
• Maintain configuration management, source control systems, and cloud/virtualized environments.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting, maintenance, and release management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of development experience with DevOps and release management.
• 5+ years building and managing CI/CD pipeline environments.
• 3+ years Linux experience in a development context.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• AWS cloud services.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Shell scripting and programming with Python, Go or Groovy.
• Version control with Git and advanced Git strategies.
• Experience deploying web or mobile applications to QA, staging, and production.
