Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Security & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of secure cloud infrastructure for our e‑commerce platform. You will work closely with security, engineering and third‑party partners to ensure robust, automated, and compliant environments on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal endpoints, VPC firewalls and AWS Security Groups across applications and environments.
• Configure and maintain Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity Access Management (IAM) policies.
• Create, audit and enforce policies using AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and other guardrails.
• Operate the AMI Factory for automated image creation, validation and serverless deployments.
• Control network traffic flow, including NACLs, transit gateways, peering, Direct Connect and security groups.
• Assess infrastructure and application vulnerabilities, drive remediation and patching for Linux OS and containers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous delivery, canary and blue‑green releases.
• Ensure system monitoring and logging using AWS native and third‑party tools.
• Lead security‑focused projects from inception to production and act as the technical point of contact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or comparable AWS certifications.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, cloud security and infrastructure automation.
